How IRIS Invigilation works without Power and Internet:

  1. Initial and Final Internet Connection: Users only need an internet connection at the beginning and end of their exam session. This allows the system to authenticate the user and initialize the exam environment.
  2. Offline Functionality: During the exam, IRIS Invigilation operates in offline mode, continuously monitoring and recording the session. All activities, including video and screen captures, are stored locally on the device.
  3. Power Backup Compatibility: The system is optimized for low power consumption and can be connected to backup power sources like UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) or portable battery packs, ensuring uninterrupted operation during power outages.
  4. Data Synchronization: Once the internet connection is restored, the locally stored data is automatically synchronized with the central server. If the user cannot reconnect immediately, the data remains secure on the device until the connection is available.
  5. User-Friendly Experience: The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, allowing students to focus on their exams without technical distractions. Clear instructions and support are provided to help students manage any disruptions smoothly.
